Futuro Health focuses on creating pathways for students to enter high-demand allied health careers. Offering resources for training, education, and career preparation, the program helps students develop the technical skills and credentials needed to excel in roles such as medical assistants, health IT specialists, and more. With an emphasis on equity and accessibility, Futuro Health ensures students are well-prepared for meaningful careers in healthcare.

But when it comes to mental health challenges—like seeing someone having a panic attack or noticing signs of depression or suicidal thoughts in a youth —many of us feel uncertain about how to help. Mental health struggles are often invisible, and too often, those who are suffering don’t get the support they desperately need. It’s important that we all learn to recognize these signs and offer the compassion and help that can make a difference.

Youth Mental Health First Aid equips students with the tools to recognize, understand, and respond to signs of mental health issues in peers.
